“medikit helps us communicate and stay informed, especially when organizing our work. Now we can focus on what truly matters: the people.”

Dominik Fröhlich

Head of Nursing,
Silberhoamat Care Association

In recent years, Silberhoamat, a care association with three facilities in Schwaz, Austria, has experienced rapid growth. With 310 employees and around 260 residents, internal communication became increasingly complex. In this case study, Care Home Manager Andreas Maier, Head of Nursing Dominik Fröhlich, and other team members share how medikit has streamlined the way they work:

Everyone’s in the loop

Andreas Mair: “Before medikit, it was hard to keep everyone in the loop. Now, we’ve finally found the right tool to keep all 310 team members informed and up to date, while also streamlining our workflows. We used to rely on emails and bulletin boards. These days, no one says, ‘I didn’t know that’ or ‘Where was that posted?’.”

Dominik Fröhlich: “medikit helps us communicate and stay informed, especially when organizing our work. Now we can focus on what truly matters: the people.“

Simplifying everyday work for everyone

Hannes Winkler, Maintenance Manager at Silberhoamat, highlights how medikit makes his job significantly easier: “It’s a huge relief to have all the information right on my phone. In the past, I was often stopped in the hallway and asked to take care of things on the fly. Now everything is much more structured and less stressful.”

Efficient task and repair coordination

medikit ermöglicht es den Mitarbeitenden, schnell und effizient miteinander zu kommunizieren, sei es bei medikit allows staff to communicate quickly and efficiently, whether it’s managing repair requests, onboarding new employees using checklists, or supporting interns. The integrated calendar makes organizing meetings easier and helps teams stay on top of agenda items. Often referred to as the team’s “own Wikipedia,” the medikit Handbook is a go-to resource that builds confidence. Thanks to personalized settings, everyone receives relevant updates, and the search function offers quick access to the info they need.

More fun at work

A team favorite at Silberhoamat is the “Moments” tool, a kind of internal social media where highlights, team events, and funny snapshots are shared, boosting a sense of community. “medikit Moments is fantastic because it adds a little fun to the workday”, notes Dominik Fröhlich, Head of Nursing.

A guided onboarding process

Every care facility has its own needs. That’s why a medikit project manager supported Silberhoamat from day one, ensuring a smooth and efficient onboarding process. The Customer Success team is also just a message away, offering practical tips and continuous support, even beyond the free trial.

During our visit to Silberhoamat, we saw firsthand how much the team values medikit’s flexibility: from smooth communication to simplified daily routines. It’s now an integral part of everyday life, helping Silberhoamat remain a place where growth and excellent care go hand in hand.
