With the introduction of medikit and the long-term collaboration with renowned leadership coach Verena Faden, Zahnzentrum Freese is fully committed to shaping a modern and effective practice culture. In this interview, we dive into how the leadership coaching by Verena Faden and the digital team communication come together in daily practice management. Knut Freese, who co-founded the dental center in 2021 with his wife Anika, shares how these two elements complement each other seamlessly.

One of the key goals of our leadership strategy was to establish a clear management structure and effective operational workflows. Verena Faden advised us to define clear communication paths and responsibilities. Her coaching gave us the tools to give direction, lead with confidence, and provide constructive feedback. We learned the importance of filtering information and resolving issues early, before they escalate. To keep team engagement and satisfaction high over the long term, we’ve developed several proven strategies. A key element is involving our team transparently in decision-making processes. We also hold biannual feedback sessions focused on each team member’s personal growth. On top of that, we use small, everyday gestures, like fresh fruit or team activities, to boost everyday motivation. We aim to keep things casual and friendly, while still following a clear and structured approach. That’s why we use medikit to support these efforts. Feedback and development goals are documented, so they don’t get lost, and special team moments are shared via medikit Moments, through snapshots or short videos—so everyone can take part. This ongoing dialogue helps us stay connected and support each team member’s individual development. Ultimately, our goal is to create an environment where everyone can grow and actively contribute to the success of the practice.
